Fresh Start offers a multitude of resources for women needing employment services. When you visit the Jewell McFarland Lewis - Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center, you will experience a wealth of options right at the Center and a host of opportunities available through our many partner agencies.

The Women’s Resource Center is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and closed Sunday. Here is a sample of what we offer:

Career Coaching Services 

 
Career Coaches are volunteer professional women ready to provide guidance along the path of professional development.  These women are experienced in the areas of career guidance, resume preparation and mock interviews. Career Coaches are available Monday through Saturday at various times to fit your busy schedule. All times are on a walk-in basis and are first come, first served. On-line Job Bank

An online system makes it possible for you to find the right job to fit your skill-set, needs and location. Fill out a form on the computer and within minutes, your information is matched to part-time or full-time jobs that may be just what you are looking for.

Helpful Materials and Job Postings

Packets created by our very own Fresh Start Career Coaches are available in our self-directed center. These packets of materials will walk you through the job searching, resume preparation and mock interview process.  Also available on the employment resource desk are local job opportunities from companies and business.
